Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to a Hotel in Kampala or Entebbe.

By the moment you land into Uganda, our guide from Afrik-Trek Holidays Ltd will be already placed at the arrivals to receive you and take you to an already reserved hotel in either Kampala city or Entebbe town for relaxation and overnight.

That is for evening arrivals, for those who may arrive earlier, an optional Entebbe city tour at a small charge can be organized for you to visit places such as Entebbe Botanical Gardens for bird watching before going to your hotel for the overnight.

Day 2: Entebbe/Kampala to Bwindi Forest.

Start your day with a hefty breakfast before you embark on the scenic drive of about 8 hours to Bwindi impenetrable national park. On your way, you will have a stopover at the Equator for photography and some experiments about Earth’s gravitational pull.

You will then continue your ride just before Mbarara town at Igongo cultural center where you will have your lunch and stretching. Afterwards, continue your journey to Bwindi, check in your lodge and spend the rest of your day relaxing and starring at the forest as you wait for the night to sleep.

Day 3: Uganda Gorilla Tour Adventure.

The day of the adventure starts with an early morning breakfast and transfer to the park headquarter for a briefing. You will be briefed about the rules to follow when tracking, how to behave in presence of mountain gorillas, facts about these gentle giants and the conservation activities.

You will then be assigned to a particular Mountain gorilla family to be trekked, organize in a group of not more than 8 peoples accompanied by UWA guides and armed park rangers to ensure to ensure your safety.

Start the trek into the forest following gorilla trails, and when you finally meet the giant apes, you will have one awesome hour observing them feeding, playing and enjoying themselves while you keep a safe distance.

You will finally trek back to the park headquarters for your gorilla trekking certificate, then head to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.

At around 3 pm, you will travel to one of the Batwa local communities for a cultural experience. Depending on the interest, you may either have a village walk discovering how the Batwa people and other local residents live, visit local herbalists or go to witness cultural dances and songs.

Retreat to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Entebbe, Visit the Reptile Village.

Rise up early for a breakfast at your lodge, then start the long drive from Bwindi to Kampala then Entebbe. Depending on your wish, you will carry packed lunch or have a meal at a designated restaurant along the way or in Kampala.

After reaching Entebbe, you will visit a community based reptile sanctuary, the Reptile Village Entebbe where you will get the opportunity to spot different reptiles up-close. Afterwards, head to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight.

Day 5: Shoebill Trekking and Fly to Masai Mara.

Early breakfast at the hotel, then set out to Mabamba bay swamp for a boat ride to trek the elusive shoebill trek. As you are riding around in the swamp, you will get a golden chance of viewing other bird species in Mabamba.

After witnessing thousands of bird species and the shoebill stork, you will be transferred to Kajjansi airstrip for your scheduled flight o Masai Mara. The flight usually takes 2 and half hours.

When you reach Masai Mara, you will meet another guide from Afrik-Trek Holidays who will receive you and transfer you to a booked lodge in Masai Mara, dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Full-day Wildlife Experience in Masai Mara.

Wake up to the sounds of the African wilderness and enjoy a quick cup of coffee or tea at your lodge before embarking on an early morning game drive, a prime time to observe the park’s predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards plus a chance to observe nocturnal creatures before they find shelter from the sun.

Afterwards, retreat to your lodge for a hearty breakfast and relax or engage in lodge activities, such as nature walks or the Maasai community encounters until at least afternoon.

Enjoy a delicious lunch at your lodge and there after embark on another game drive in the vast plains of Masai Mara where you will have the opportunity to spot the Big Five and countless other species.

Visit Mara river, a hotspot for observing wildebeests and zebras especially during wildebeest migration season plus hippos and crocodiles in the river.

After the long hours of observing wild animals, you will return to lodge and then go for an evening Maasai cultural performances, providing a unique insight into the traditions and dances of this indigenous people. Retreat to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Morning Game Drive, Transfer to Nairobi for a City Tour.

On the final day of the 7 Days Uganda and Kenya Safari Adventure, you’ll start with an early morning game drive, capturing the Masai Mara’s beauty at dawn and seeking any last wildlife encounters you may have missed.

Return to the lodge for breakfast and checkout, depart for Nairobi city. Transitioning from the wild plains to the city’s hustle and bustle, you’ll embark on a brief Nairobi city tour visiting places like Karen Blixen Museum and the Giraffe Centre, offering a mix of history and wildlife in the heart of the city.

You will end your trip with a transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your late evening flight bac home or, we drop you off at a hotel in Nairobi city.
