We recommend you read and understand our Terms of Service/Afrik-Trek Holidays’ Terms and Conditions when booking your next Africa Safari Tour.
Afrik-Trek Holidays Ltd is a fully registered tour company in Uganda by URSB (Uganda Registration Services Bureau) Reg. No: 80020002814120; P.O. BOX: 26377, Kampala. We are a recognized private tour company, specializing in organizing safari holidays to different destinations that feature on our website.
Please read and fully understand our stipulated booking terms of service (ToS)/terms and conditions. In case of any clarification, don’t hesitate to reach out to our team.
Your booking with Afrik-Trek Holidays Ltd.
Bookings with Afrik-Trek Holidays Ltd will exist as soon as our confirmation invoice and itinerary are issued to you.
This will be issued after receiving a deposit and confirming each element of your trip to East Africa. Our team will make reservation based on these booking conditions.
Paying for your East African Tour.
All safaris will be booked only after you have made a deposit of 30% of the booking price/cost. A trip will only begin upon completing balance/making full payment of a tour package. Visitors on gorilla safari or chimpanzee tracking tour must have obtained permits and payments should be made to 100%. Any changes on the pricing and booking of gorilla & chimpanzee permits are completely independent of Afrik-Trek Holidays Ltd terms & determined by the government body in charge protecting wildlife.
Any additional deposited required shall be communicated to you before you make booking for your trip with us. The balance must be cleared at least 30 days prior to the start of the safari except if it is agreed differently. Any bookings made with Afrik-Trek Holidays within 45 days prior to arrival must be fully cleared at the time of confirmation.
If payment isn’t paid in time, Afrik-Trek Holidays Ltd won’t start the safari or we may cancel your travel arrangements and retain your deposit. In case of any delayed payment, our team shall remind you and failure to make it; we shall be forced to cancel the trip.
Any price quote provided to you for our different safaris & tours as per the travel itinerary is valid for seven (7) days from that date. We may vary the price depending on the cost changes. The price quoted will include the following services except if it is stipulated differently: night stay in lodges/camp/hotel/guesthouse/tents; activities, meals, park entry fees, airport transfers (where applicable), park ranger guide services, ground transportation, bottled drinking water, etc.
The price quote excludes domestic & international airfares, all meals not part of the travel itinerary, visas, passports, beverages, tipping, and accommodation after or before start of your trip, travel insurance, laundry, and other expenses. The rates available on the website/quoted to you are subject to change without notice and guarantee booking only if confirmed.
Afrik-Trek Holidays Ltd reserves the right to make changes in the prices at any time should there be any change in the exchange rate/hike in the cost of any proportion of the safari, but our team shall ensure that the increment is kept at minimum rate.
Our safari prices will be quoted in only USD, and any quote you offered will be valid for 7 days. We accept bank transfer, VISA Credit Card/Cash, but should be done prior to beginning of your trip. Take note that any payment made using VISA Credit Card involves a 3.9% service charge and transactions should be made 1 month before the start of a trip. Full payment should be made in case of any costs of international transactions or 3.9% service charge for the case of credit card payment.
Bookings with Afrik-Trek Holidays Ltd.
Afrik-Trek Holidays Ltd offers transportation, safaris/tours/excursions, accommodation bookings, restaurant meals and other services provided in collaboration with independent suppliers.
All information availed to you in the travel itinerary is to the best knowledge of Afrik-Trek Holidays Ltd and it will be up-to-date. We will not be liable for modified information from 3rd parties after sending it to you or any obvious typing errors.
To have your flights, gorilla, chimpanzee, golden monkey permits booked, your full names are required. Your full details should correspond to what is on your passport, national ID or passport number.
Upon confirming a safari booking, you (client) must let our team know of any preferences and special requests for instance diet, medical needs, requirements relating to disabilities plus any other additional requirements. All requests shall be met except where we are unable to but we shall let you know before start of safari.
All tour packages are subject to availability and not guaranteed till confirmed. Take note that most accommodation facilities recommended or provided, don’t have adequate capacity, and we encourage you to book in advance.
Afrik-Trek Holidays Ltd will enter into agreements on your behalf with service providers of your tour requirements, like lodges/camps/hotels, gorilla, chimpanzees, golden monkey permits, park/site entrances, and more. The service providers’ terms and conditions will be applicable to you once you have made a deposit and booking for your safari/services. Take note, the service providers’ terms & conditions are beyond our control.
Cancellations & Refunds (Cancellation Policy).
Travel arrangements can be cancelled by you or any member of your party. A written notification from the person who made the reservation must be received by email. Our cancellation & refund policy will apply as stated below;

Afrik-Trek Holidays Ltd is committed to providing the most excellent service beyond visitor expectations. Any other suggestions are all welcome as this can help us improve our quality of service further.
If you have any complaint regarding our service, please report it immediately to the company representative or supplier of the service in question. The matter shall be handled as fast as possible.
You can also follow up the matter within 28 days of your return home, email us email@example.com, this is if the matter is not resolved locally. We won’t be liable to any complaints not notified in accordance with what has been stated above.
Liability and Responsibility.
Your liability, in case of any failure to perform or improper performance on a holiday with us, you must inform us with delays. This includes cases where other services on your travel package haven’t been performed as per the contract.
We won’t be liable to any failure to perform/improper performance that result from you or any of your members/a 3rd party failure to corporate/connect as agreed with service provider or in case of unavoidable circumstances.
Our liability, excluding death, illness, injury, will be limited to 3 times the cost of your safari arrangements. Our liability will also be limited in accordance to terms of the companies that will be providing other services that make up your travel package.
Note: These general terms of service must be followed although, in some instances based on personal level negotiations between our agents and clients, some terms can be adjusted.
