History of Kenya
Kenya being strategically located between Lake Victoria and the Indian ocean exposed it to different people across Africa and middle east via water. Different group of people crossed to Kenya mainly for trade in the early centuries and as result, it caused intermarriages hence leading to creation of different ethnic groups speaking different languages making Kenya a country with a diverse culture up to date.
Also, Kenya’s location exposed it to slave trade during the early 1700 leading to kidnapping of many Kenyans by mostly the Europeans and the Arabs as well, causing a disastrous impact to the country, breaking of families, taking hundreds of young men affecting the country’s economy.
