Detailed Itinerary of the 7 Days Kenya and Tanzania Safari

Day 1: Kenya: Nairobi City-Masai Mara National Reserve

Following breakfast, start the day with pick-up from the Hotel in Nairobi City or the Airport. After being briefed, leave the Capital by 8:00am, driving through the Great Rift Valley floor as well as past the Narok base Town to reach Masai Mara National Reserve.

Be there in the afternoon to relish a game drive in the evening. Animals like wildebeests, lions, zebras, leopards, cheetahs, gazelles, leopards, Topis, impalas, Cape buffaloes, Aardvarks, Cape hares, Aardwolves, Olive baboons, vervet monkeys, bushbucks, duikers, Defassa waterbucks, giant elands, to mention but a few are sighted.

Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve: The Mara Full-day Game Drive

Start the day with breakfast and set out to enjoy a full-day game drive through the sweeping Masai Mara National Reserve.

Day 3: Cross the border and transfer to Serengeti National Park

Leave Masai Mara National Reserve after a delicious early breakfast, with a lunch box. Cross the Kenya-Tanzania border at Isebania with immigration clearing and vehicle change done at this point before continuing to Serengeti National Park.

Be introduced to this Protected Area’s unique ecosystem via a game drive to the Safari Camp/Lodge.

Your actual adventure begins on arriving the Protected Area although the climax is at the Crater floor marked by the largest unbroken Caldera in the World.

You will see some of the largest herds of African bush elephants, cape buffaloes, Black Rhinoceros, impalas, wildebeests, Topis, Kobs, warthogs, Defassa waterbucks and prides of lions, cheetahs and leopards among others.

Find a secluded picnic spot to enjoy your lunch while enjoying views and continue for dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Have lunch at the picnic site and continue driving through the Protected Area before embarking on a trip to Karatu Town where your dinner and overnight will be based.
