Detailed itinerary for 7 days Rwanda Uganda safari
Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After your morning breakfast at your Hotel, your Driver will pick you and brief you about the 7 days Rwanda Uganda safari and then drive off to northern part of Rwanda in Musanze district to Volcanoes national park which is a home to over 360 Mountain Gorillas. Upon arrival check in for lunch at your lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Have early morning breakfast at your lodge and then head to the park headquarters for briefing and then head into the jungle for Gorilla trekking activity which takes unpredictable time.
Once you meet the Mountain Gorillas you are allowed only one hour to interact with them. Back to the lodge for late lunch and relaxation. In the evening if time allows you may for a community walk. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park
After a morning breakfast, head to the park headquarters for briefing about golden monkey tracking and then enter into the forest or hike to the Karisoke researcher centre which was started by Dian Fossey.
After the activity of your choice, cross over to Uganda and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park which is famous to host half the world’s remaining mountain Gorillas. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Have breakfast and then head to the park headquarters for briefing about the Do’s and don’ts for Gorilla trekking, next is to enter the forest to trek the magnificent giant apes, on observing the giant primates, you are only allowed one hour to interact with them, head back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you may decide to visit the community for a walk in the nearby Batwa community in Uganda to enjoy traditional dances and songs. Back to the lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After a morning breakfast at your lodge, transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park passing via the Ishasha sector with chances to view the tree climbing lions on the big fig trees, a variety of bird species like the shoebills, kingfishers among others.
Check in to the lodge for lunch and later head for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel where you will view animals like crocodiles, hippos, elephants, and different bird species at a close range. Dinner and overnight at your lodge

Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking and Game drive
Have breakfast at your lodge and then head to the park headquarters for briefing, after the briefing head to Kyambura Gorge for the primate search, once you meet the primates you are only allowed one hour to interact with the primates.
Back to the lodge for lunch and later in the evening head for an evening game drive in the Kasenyi plains with chances to view elephants, antelopes, zebras, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species. Retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 7: Transfer back to Kigali
After a morning breakfast from the lodge, continue to Kigali with a stop for shopping and to observe the magnificent topography.
Upon arrival in Kigali, take on a Kigali city tour in places like Museum, Genocide memorial center, local market as we come to the end of the 7 days Rwanda Uganda safari.
