Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

You will be picked by your driver from your hotel, and start your 7 days Uganda safari heading to Lake Mburo national park traveling southwestern part of Uganda, with stops at the Mpambire drum makers center and the Equator for informative talks and photographs.

Embark to the journey and upon arrival check in to your lodge as you prepare for tomorrow’s activities

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo

After a morning breakfast from your lodge, head for a game drive with chances to view impalas, zebras, Warthogs, and antelopes, among others.

Back to lodge for lunch and after lunch go for a boat cruise on Lake Mburo where you have chances to view animals at a close range such as crocodiles, hippos, elephants, among others. Retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park

After a morning breakfast, transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park through Mbarara town with a great view of the beautiful landscapes and various rolling hills with terraces. Upon reaching the park, check-in for dinner and overnight

Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park

After a morning breakfast from your lodge, with packed lunch, transfer to the park headquarters where you will meet other trekkers briefed by ranger Guides about the safety and rules to follow in the forest as you trek mountain gorillas.

After the briefing, head into the forest to search the giant apes as it takes unpredictable time in the forest as mountain Gorillas move in different directions in search of food.

Once you see the mountain gorillas, you are allowed only one hour with them. Back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

Have an early breakfast and then proceed to Queen Elizabeth national park passing through the Ishasha sector and if lucky you may view tree climbing lions on the big fig trees.

Upon arrival at the park check-in and head for a game drive in the Kasenyi plains where you will sight different animals like elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, lions, among others. Back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge

After a brief morning breakfast, head to the park headquarters for briefing before you head to for chimpanzees trekking in the forest, after the briefing, head to Kyambura Gorge in search of the chimpanzees as you are only allowed 1 hour with the primates.

Back to the lodge for lunch, after lunch, if time allows we shall head for a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel to have a close view of animals like crocodiles, rhinos, elephants among others. Back to the lodge for overnight and dinner.
